Nails, lashes and brows in Da Nang for visitors and expats
English is spoken, there is no tourist price, and single-use items are opened in front of you. Shella Nails & Lashes was set up for tourists passing through Da Nang and expats living here, and below is what to expect, how language works, and how to fit appointments around a trip.
What to expect
- You can book online or walk in when a technician is free. Groups of more than three should book ahead.
- You start by explaining what you want. A photo on your phone is the easiest way.
- The service and the price are agreed with you before any work starts.
- Single-use items are opened fresh in front of you.
- Lash and brow treatments are done by Han, the owner, personally.
- You pay the same price as local clients, as shown on the price list.
- You leave with aftercare advice for your treatment.
- If something is not right within 3 days and you followed the aftercare, the fix is free.
Language
English and Vietnamese are spoken at the salon. If English is not your first language, let a photo do the talking: show us the nails, lashes or brows you want, and we confirm the service and price before starting. You can also message us and use a translation app.
Planning around a trip
Book lash extensions and brow treatments at least 3 days before you fly. The first 24 hours then stay away from travel, and the free-fix window falls while you are still in Da Nang. Book waxing one to two days before a beach day, never the same day. Gel nails can be done a day or two before you leave.
Related questions
Do you speak English?
Yes. English is spoken at the salon, so you can explain what you want, ask questions and understand the aftercare advice without a translator. Bringing a photo of the look you want is still the fastest way to get exactly what you have in mind, whatever language you speak. Vietnamese is spoken too.
My English isn't strong. Can I still book?
Yes. The easiest way is to show us a photo of the nails, lashes or brows you want, and we confirm the service and the price with you before starting. You can also message us in writing, which gives you time to use a translation app. We speak English and Vietnamese.
Do tourists pay more than locals?
No. There is one fixed price menu, and locals and foreigners pay exactly the same. The prices on this website are the prices you pay at the salon. There is no separate tourist menu and no markup for foreign clients.
When should I get lash extensions before a trip?
Get them at least 3 days before you fly if you can. That keeps the first 24 hours, when lashes must stay dry, away from travel, and it means the 3-day free-fix window falls while you are still in Da Nang. If you are staying for several weeks, plan a fill two to three weeks after your full set.
When should I get waxed before a beach day?
Book waxing one to two days before the beach, not on the same day. Freshly waxed skin should stay out of the sun, salt water and pools for about 24 hours. Waxing a day or two ahead also leaves time inside the 3-day free-fix window to come back if any hairs were missed.
How do I find the salon?
The salon is next to the Panoma 1 and Panoma 2 apartment buildings in the Sun Cosmo complex, near Trần Thị Lý Bridge. Look for our tall, light-coloured sign on the wall. The Visit page has a Google Maps link and our WhatsApp contact, so you can open directions on your phone or message us if you need help on the way.
How does the 3-day free fix work?
If something is not right within 3 days of your appointment, contact us any way you like, by message, phone or in person, and we fix it at no charge. A photo helps but is not required. It applies to every service, nails, lashes, brows and waxing, with one free fix per service. The one condition is that you followed the aftercare advice.
Where can I park?
You can park right next to the salon. Whether you arrive by motorbike, car or Grab, stopping beside the salon is the easiest option, and you can walk straight in. Look for our tall, light-coloured sign on the wall. If you have trouble finding us, message us on WhatsApp and we will guide you.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes. There is no deposit to pay and no fee for cancelling or missing an appointment. We only ask that you message us as early as you can if your plans change, because it lets us offer your time to someone else. Moving to a new time works the same way: just send us a message.
